Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minnesota April 20, 2005: Image Spigot Graphic Design announces the success of new promotional materials for the Minnesota Opera's Opening Night Gala and Silent Auction. The theme of the gala and materials was taken from that of the opening night opera, Madame Butterfly, the tragic story of a Japanese bride.

The collateral for the event included a save-the-date card, invitation, program, auction catalog, name cards and signage. Says Melissa Peterson of the Minnesota Opera, "It was great working with Image Spigot. Everyone is absolutely thrilled with their work; it really is spectacular! These pieces brought the visual standard for this event up to a new level. The red, gold and white color scheme accented with orchids created a perfect image for the gala. Many of the attendees complimented us on the pieces. The invitation in particular was inspiring, well-designed, and thematically perfect."

The pieces created by Image Spigot used Japanese wedding colors and imagery to properly introduce the Madame Butterfly theme for the evening and create an entirely consonant experience. "We did a fair amount of research and worked hard to create a culturally appropriate execution," says Image Spigot principal, Sharon Sudman.
